Louis Jacquot is a French artist who lives and works in Paris.

He graduated from Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2020.

His work is rooted in a conceptual and minimal approach to painting and objects. The canvas is treated as a domestic, ergonomic surface that becomes overtaken by bold, acidic images and textures ; creating a tension between the image and the surface, as well as forging a connection between the viewer’s body, the work itself, and the space it occupies.

His work has been exhibited in galleries, project spaces and institutions including most recently Pace gallery (Seoul, Korea), Villa Magdalena (San Sebastian, Spain) and DS galerie (Paris,France).
